The civics test is spoken, and so is everything else.
The N-400, the civics questions, and an interview conducted in English.
People study the question list on paper and the whole interview is out loud.
This is practice support only, not legal advice. Verify all requirements and the current civics question list with USCIS, and consult an immigration attorney for anything specific to your case.
What this actually involves
The naturalization interview is a spoken exam. An officer asks civics questions verbally, checks your English, and goes through your application with you. Applicants who have memorized all the questions in writing frequently struggle anyway, because recognizing an answer on a list and producing it aloud to an officer are different things — especially in a second language, under pressure.

Common questions
How many civics questions will I be asked?
The officer asks from the official list and stops once you have answered enough correctly. Check current USCIS guidance for the specifics.
Is the English test separate?
It is assessed through the interview itself — speaking, reading, and writing — rather than as a distinct exam.
Can Vera give immigration advice?
No. It helps you practise answering out loud. Eligibility and legal questions belong with USCIS or an immigration attorney.
Other goals
Not practising doesn’t save you anything.
The ticket, the evening, the weeks of applying — all of it is spent before anyone says a word. The practice is the only cheap part, and the only part that changes how the rest goes.
