Five rounds, five different exams.
Recruiter screen, hiring manager, product sense, behavioral, and the negotiation nobody prepares for.
Candidates prepare for the product sense round and get cut in the recruiter screen.
What this actually involves
A PM loop is not one interview repeated. The recruiter screen tests a two-minute pitch, the hiring manager call tests fit, the product round tests structured thinking out loud, and the final round rewards compression. Each has a different failure mode, and preparing for one does almost nothing for the others. Then there is the offer conversation, which people spend zero hours on and which is worth the most per minute.

Common questions
Where do most PM candidates actually get cut?
The recruiter screen and the behavioral rounds, not the product sense round that gets most of the study time.
How long before interviews should I start?
Two to three weeks of short sessions beats a weekend of cramming, because the improvement comes from hearing yourself repeatedly.
Do I need to do these in order?
No. Start with whichever round is next in your process, or with the recruiter screen if you have not started applying.
Other goals
Not practising doesn’t save you anything.
The ticket, the evening, the weeks of applying — all of it is spent before anyone says a word. The practice is the only cheap part, and the only part that changes how the rest goes.
