Rehearse the call your commission depends on.
Discovery, demos, negotiation, and the deal that just went quiet.
You get coached after the call. The money is decided during it.
What Vera actually is
A phone call with someone who is not there. You say the thing out loud, they answer the way a real person would, and you get to do it again — as many times as it takes, with nobody listening.

Not practising doesn’t save you anything.
The ticket, the evening, the weeks of applying — all of it is spent before anyone says a word. The practice is the only cheap part, and the only part that changes how the rest goes.

Where to start
The calls that decide this job, in the order worth practising them.
What you're actually judged on
AEs get reviewed after the fact — a recording, a pipeline review, a manager's notes from a call they were half on. All of it arrives after the deal has already moved. The conversations that decide a quarter happen live and unrehearsed, usually with a persona you have never spoken to before, and the only practice available is doing it on a real deal.
- Quota attainment, and how you got there
- Whether discovery was real or a pitch with questions in it
- Deal hygiene — multithreading, next steps, forecast accuracy
- Margin held versus discounted away
Common questions
When should I practise?
The evening before a first discovery or a demo with a persona you have not sold to before. That is where the return is highest.
Can it play my actual buyer?
Describe the industry, title, and attitude and it will hold the persona. Ask for a harsher version than you expect.
Is this recorded or shared?
No. It is your practice, not an enablement tool — nothing goes to a manager or a dashboard.
