Keep training the rest of you.

Check-ins that track what your knee did this week and keep you from stopping entirely.

One cranky joint makes most people stop training altogether. It should not.

What Vera actually is

A phone call with someone who is not there. You say the thing out loud, they answer the way a real person would, and you get to do it again — as many times as it takes, with nobody listening.

1She calls youA real phone call, about ten seconds after you tap. Lock screen, headphones, car — wherever you take calls.
2She plays the other personNot a coach reading tips. Training Around Knee Pain, with someone on the other end who answers back.
3She pushes when you are vagueFollow-up questions, interruptions when you ramble, and a straight read at the end on what landed.

“What if I am bad at it?”Everyone is, on the first one. That is the entire reason it happens here and not there.
“What if I do not know what to say?”She asks first and follows up on whatever you answer. You never start from a blank page.
“What if it is awkward?”It is, for about twenty seconds. Then it is a conversation, and nobody heard the twenty seconds.

Not practising doesn’t save you anything.

The ticket, the evening, the weeks of applying — all of it is spent before anyone says a word. The practice is the only cheap part, and the only part that changes how the rest goes.

What she'll actually ask

She asks these the way a real person would, then follows up on whatever you say.

  1. Have you had this looked at by a physio?
  2. What did you train this week and how did the knee respond?
  3. Is it worse during, after, or the next morning?
  4. What movements are still completely fine?
  5. Has the pattern changed over the last month?
More about this one

Knee pain rarely means training has to stop; it usually means some movements are out for a while and others are fine. The problem is that people stop entirely, lose the habit, and come back weaker, which does not help the knee either. Vera checks in on what you did, what the knee did afterwards, and whether the pattern is improving — and pushes you toward a physio when the answers point that way.

“I would have stopped completely. Instead I kept training everything else for two months while the knee settled.”

Common questions

Can Vera diagnose my knee?

No. It is not a clinician and cannot assess an injury. It tracks patterns so you can bring better information to someone who can.

Should I push through knee pain?

That depends entirely on the cause, which is why assessment matters. Vera will keep suggesting a physio if the pattern is not improving.

What can I do meanwhile?

Usually more than people assume. The check-ins focus on what is still comfortable rather than what is not.

What if I am bad at it?

Everyone is, on the first one. That is the entire reason it happens here and not there.

What if I do not know what to say?

She asks the first question and follows up on whatever you answer. You never start from a blank page.

What if it is awkward?

It is, for about twenty seconds. Then it is a conversation, and nobody heard the twenty seconds.
